The course curriculum includes:

• Survive at sea in the event of ship abandonment:
• don and use an immersion suit
• safely jump from a height into the water
• right an inverted life raft while wearing a lifejacket
• swim while wearing a lifejacket
• keep afloat without a lifejacket

This intensive refresher course of Personal Survival Techniques (RPST) offers seafarers the opportunity to:

• Prepare to deal with emergencies like abandoning ship, using lifesaving equipment, and enduring harsh conditions
• Ensure Compliance: Meet mandatory training requirements as per international maritime regulations.

PST Course Out Come:

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate recognized by the DGS (Directorate General of Shipping), part of the Ministry of Shipping of the Government of India (GOI)., affirming their updated proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques.

Prerequisite:

• Candidates must have previously completed the PST course as per DGS guidelines, hold a Certificate of Proficiency for Basic Safety Training (BST) with at least 1 year of sea service in the last 5 years, and possess a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Age Requirement: Minimum 18 years
• Medical Fitness: Participants must be medically fit as per specified standards.
